Short video on ‘How to deal with lustful thoughts,’ by Paul Washer (and what about those practicing fornication that think they’re saved because they go to a “church”?)

Thou Washer did not refer to the following passage in his sermon excerpt, I will. Keep in mind that when the Apostle Paul mentioned those dark seedy sins in 1st Corinthians 6:9, the first sin he mentioned was “fornicators”. There must be a reason why the Lord put that sin on the top of that list. I’ve said this many times before, and I’ll say it again. I believe there are more practicing fornicators that call themselves Christian, that enter buildings that they call ‘church,’ than there are those in the alternative life style that do not call themselves Christians. They may attend a local church, but many of them are not part of the Biblical church (aka the bride of Christ). The Lord Jesus warned about them in Matthew 7:21-23.

Dear professed Christian, if you’re practicing fornication (or these other sins), you will not inherit eternal life in heaven. God said it, so I believe it.

“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither FORNICATORS, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God”( 1 Cor 6:9-10 – KJV).

But it doesn’t have to stop there in verse 10, we’ll move to the next verse in a moment.

We have all committed sexual sin. Whether it be a lustful thought, or the physical act. The question is did you repent and entrust yourself to Christ? Or is that your way of life (your life style)?

“Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness. You know that he appeared in order to take away sins, and in him there is no sin. No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him. Little children, let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous. Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him, and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of God. By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother (1 John 3:4-10 – ESV).
