The headlines read “Terror attack at Orlando gay club Pulse leaves about 20 people dead, 42 others wounded; gunman dead following hours-long standoff with police.”

What a horrific tragedy this was.

Looking at this from a worldly or secular perspective, we would refer to the shooter as the suspect (or the criminal), and all those that were tragically shot (and/or killed) as the ‘victims.’ But in the eyes of a Holy Just God, every person in this place are enemies of God (thus saith the Lord). That would also include any police officers or first responders that were not truly born-again repented followers of Christ (straight or gay).

As Paul warned in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.”

A sinner must repent, and be clothed in Christ’s imputed righteousness to be able to see heaven, they must be born-again. And to those of you that ‘profess’ to be Christians. “Let love be without dissimulation (hypocrisy). Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good” (Romans 12:9).

Whether it be the hateful murder committed by the shooter, or the wicked sins practiced by those inside. A Biblical love will be Biblical. A Biblical love will never tolerate, acquiesce to, nor condone sinful lifestyles. Read Ephesians 5:1-21, the proper context is ‘walking in love.’ A true Biblical love will rebuke and even expose sin. That is not taught from most pulpits anymore.

One would wonder how many of those lost souls ever heard a clear presentation of the Gospel (the whole counsel of both the Law and Gospel)? That is why we open-air preach the Gospel out in the public.

Update: The deaths have risen up to 50. The shooter Omar Mateen that killed 50 at the Pulse nightclub, was an admitted homosexual. He frequented this gay nightclub, and was known for picking-up on men in this club.
