4 Videos of 3 men from church preaching at Riverside Famers Market, police intervention captured on film
Today some Christians from our church, did another outreach in downtown Riverside. Nick, Rizzi, and myself preached out into the open-air. We also distributed Gospel tracts, and engaged in ‘one on one’ conversations.
During my message, the Riverside police were called out to silence us. The man that called (whom later advised he works for the City,) can be seen on his cellphone calling, while I was preaching. This citizen never complained to me, until after he had already summoned for the police response. He called the police only minutes into the first message given. However Riversides finest were professional and mindful, of our first amendment right to preach in public. The below videos are the order as these events occurred.
- Bill Rhetts preaching a message on ‘Just as in the days of Noah’
- A video of the ‘interaction with the police officers’
- Nick preaching a message on ‘The stalker and the law’
- Rizzi preaching on ‘The law vs. the Gospel.’
