A scathing sermon jam on ‘Demonic Oppression – Sin and Scandal,’ by Willie Mullan

Back in 1975 pastor Willie Mullan preached a series on “Demonology.” His fourth lecture was entitled, “That’s how warfare goes.” This is a 15-minute excerpt from that lecture.

The story how he ‘sought out’ the lady that wrote him is amazing.

The story about the false accusation that destroyed the famous Puritan Richard Baxter, breaks my heart as well.

Brethren, the more you’re used by the Lord, the more Satan and his demons will bring spiritual warfare against you. Remember Satan is the ‘father of lies.’ As I said years ago, the news media is the Devil’s advocate. Satan may even use the news media in attempt to discredit you. Don’t be a defeatist. Don’t be a victim, but let the Victor pull you through.

Side Note: Don’t confuse Satan’s oppression, with Gods conviction. In other words, if you are currently in an unrepented sin(s), Satan’s not making you feel bad about it. God convicts us of our present-tense sins, whereas Satan tries to oppress us with our past-tense sins. Gods desire is that we “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord” (Acts 3:19).
