A three part series on “Law Enforcement’s three most misunderstood or misapplied Bible verses.”
Disclaimer: This is not a professional presentation. The content of the message is what is important. All three videos on the three different subject matters, are on this one page.
Part 1/3 (Romans 13:1-5)
Too many Christians within America believe that they are always to agree with, submit to, or acquiesce to those within the realm of Government. My presentation will tell the proper context of this passage. Yes, there is a Biblical time to oppose the Government.
Part 2/3 (Matthew 5:9)
Part 3/3 (John 15:13)

Back in the 1990’s I sat on the board of directors for an international police ministry, which used Matthew 5:9 as their motto. I was once called a “legalist” for taking a position against the misquoting of Matt 5:9.
Yes the Lord mighty used this ministry in so many awesome ways. However, in their attempt to become even bigger, they became ecumenical, and acquiesced to religious pluralism. Therefore, I left the board.
Recently I saw one of their leaders post videos on their ministries Facebook page, of a person that taught false doctrine. Thinking perhaps that they were not aware of the false teachings, I sent a ‘private’ message to the person that posted it. His response was “Bill I just want to love.” After that response, I then sent an email to their entire board of directors. None of them responded, nor cared.
The moral of the story? Sometimes a peacemaker will be mistaken as a troublemaker. After all, Jesus included the salt and light in His Sermon on the Mount. We are commanded to love, but we must never waiver on the ‘truth in love.’
