Country before party or God before Country and Party? @ the Mexican Consulate
While driving to this location I saw a sign on the freeway overpass that stated “Country before party.” Though I agree with the signage, it is a ‘secular political’ worldview. A Christian’s ‘Biblical’ worldview will have signage that states “God before country and party,” lest we commit the same sins that the prophet Jeremiah warned about.
Perhaps some will accuse me of “treason” for stating that “this white American” was ashamed of…. (watch VP Pence here). But the truth is, the LORD must go be before my country and my party, lest I commit idolatry; because God is a jealous God (Ex 20:4-6, 34:14).
Our neighbors at the Mexican Consulate were very receptive. Thankfully 99% of them spoke English, private conversations were omitted.
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).
