Judges rule against street preacher(s), stating some public streets and sidewalks are not public
Yes this news is sad, but at the same time I rejoice, and when the courts get worse, I will rejoice even more. I have come to a point in my life (as the Lord sanctifies me more), that I desire to be less of an American. I now belong to a holy nation (1 Pet 2:9-10). Like many Heralds, I want to be more like Christ, and His great Apostles. None of them had a Constitution, and none of them needed one. And when the Government violated the Apostles conscience, convictions, and/or the Scripture’s, they had no problem disobeying man’s Law, so that they may further the Gospel.
Let the courts try all they want. I, as well as others will keep preaching in the public, and the gates of hell will not prevail against the Lord’s church. They arrested the Apostles for preaching in the streets, and they killed them. Let them arrest us, let them kill us. But know this. They cannot kill a born-again Christian, they can only change our address, as our citizenship is in heaven (Phil 3:20-21). No matter what happens, it’s a win win for the Lord’s Church. I am not a friend of this world, its wordings are enemies of Christ (James 4:4-5). Lord let Your will be done!
As I said in a recent blog post regarding the Constitution,
‘Since the inception of social media I have noticed that many professing Christians have given the appearance of committing idolatry with our U.S. Constitution. Many of them have put the Bill of Rights above and before the Scriptures. The truth is, our Constitution was penned by “theistic rationalists.” Though I greatly benefit from the First Amendment, I must see it for what it is. It is a secular ecumenical document that fosters an environment for ecumenicalism and religious pluralism. That my friend is not Christian.”
As always brethren –Love ‘biblically’ – repent – be salt and light – be holy – be sanctified – fear God – pray without ceasing – keep His commandments – put on the whole armor of God (and use it) – walk circumspectly – believe in and trust Jesus – obey the Gospel – share the Gospel – preach the Gospel – contend for the faith, – disciple each other, hate the things that God hates, and love the things that God loves – keep the faith, work-out your salvation, and endure to the end!
