Our flood control infrastructure rebuilt by Crazy K Ranchmen

When we purchased our new home, we realized that a portion of the land was suffering severe water erosion, and if we did not intervene soon, some of the trees in our woods would eventually succumb to a mini avalanche.

When I solicited referrals from one fellow, he recommended Sammy with the Crazy K Ranch.

After reviewing their website, I learned they had lots to offer the community. From cattle sales, genetics & IVF, to hosting venues, and cabins, to providing homegrown beef. We’ve already purchased some of their frozen steaks.

The ranch is owned and operated by a husband and wife team. After meeting Sammy, I told my wife, “I think we just met the Ben Cartwright of the Ponderosa Ranch.”

Some of you are too young to remember, the Ponderosa Ranch was the main theme of the famous TV series ‘Bonanza’ which began in 1959, the year I was born.

Long story short, Sammy and his brother came to our home to assess our problem and offered their professional advice on what needed to be done. Problem solving? No problem! Not knowing much about the severe storm patterns in Tennessee, we trusted his team and gladly retained their services.

They just finished their initial and primary work to be done. They rebuilt our flood control system and even widened the upper portion of our driveway. We are pleased with their work ethic and are thankful for the referral. Next month they will be back to do some more work around the tree line, which will prevent further water erosion in that area.

And we’re also excited to purchase some cattle from them soon.

According to His will. “The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land.” – Deuteronomy 28:8

“Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” – 1 Corinthians 10:31

The below video includes some of their work in progress. And remember to check-out their website.
