The Southern Baptist Church Convention has revealed their own gender identity confusion, as they change Gods Word to be more gender neutral
It is important to note that I am not speaking of the Lords Church (Christ’s bride) here. I am speaking of a denomination.
As I’ve warned many times before, the Southern Baptist Church has continually engaged in a gradual process of apostasy. Now their extra-biblical Rome-like ecclesiastical hierarchy has changed ‘their Bible’ to be more ‘gender neutral.’ Just like the rest of the world, the Southern Baptist convention has revealed their own ‘gender identity’ confusion.
Whatever happened to the doctrine of the sufficiency of Scripture? What ever happened to the doctrines of the infallibility and inerrancy of Scripture? What ever happened to Sola scriptura? (So that I don’t have a log in my own eye, when some from within ‘my own’ denomination stray from Sola scriptura (which they have), I have ‘called them out’ on that).
I am no longer simply warning my SBC brethren, I am now imploring you to run while you still can. In the meantime, stop financing this nonsense. This is why I would like to see more ‘Acts 2 house churches planted,’ and leave your checkbook at home.
Disclaimer: Not all SBC churches have followed this falling away, but it appears that a majority have.

Now it’s SBC female pastors We keep warning our SBC neighbors, to run from this apostate denomination. A little leaven lumps the whole denomination.

As the SBC denomination consistently and continually apostatizes, I decided to add a tag to the few of my SBC related posts (there’s much better posts elsewhere). True every church and every denomination falls short, and there is not even one denomination that I would fully endorse; but the SBC keeps-on worsening. In summary, from their leaders advocacy of LGBT rights, to a desire to minimize the sin of homosexuality, to lying about the Lord, to blasphemy, to being emergent and relevant, to a purpose driven theology, to free will’ism, and the latest; an ordained female pastor. This is why there is much wisdom in healthy local churches not associating themselves with a particular denomination, and/or an association of churches. In other words, I believe in the autonomy of the local church. Furthermore I do not desire to be known as my local church, nor denomination. Christians are called to imitate Christ, not our fellow churchman. I am not a Baptist, nor a First Baptist, nor a Southern Baptist, nor a Reformed Baptist, not a Methodist, nor an Evangelical, nor a Presbyterian, nor a Calvary Chapel-er, etcetera. But I do prefer to be known by Biblical terminologies. Just for starts – a sinner that is justified, born-again, chosen, the elect, holy (because He is Holy), His temple, Christ’s bride, baptized, repenting, purchased, bought, redeemed, bond-slave and ambassador to Christ; whom now belongs to His Royal Priesthood. Below is just a few of too many stories.
