Though Dr. Packer’s list is not exhaustive, I say amen. A special amen on “holiness,” and “to share the Gospel,” and “an outward look worldwide.” However I do not believe that ‘outward’ is going out, to invite worldlings inside your church, and I’m sure Dr. Packer would agree. Lastly, one of the reasons why we have so many parachurch ministries today, is because many churches are not healthy. Hence, many parachurch ministries are doing what many local churches will not.
