At the age of 83 the late Ravenhill said, “I want to be one of the ten most wanted men in hell!” A big AMEN to that.

And where is that “fire in the belly” in the men of today that he mentioned? It is rarely to be seen anymore.

I read Ranvehill’s biography. He would not agree with todays postmodern “altar calls.” Though Ravenhill had a ‘mourning bench’ for weeping, mourning, repenting, and prayer. But Biblical altars are a place be slain and slaughtered. That is what Christ the Lamb of God did for those that become saved. Not today’s unbiblical, non-salvific, ‘man-centered’ walk forward if you want to go to heaven nonsense.

When a person becomes saved (born-again), that will become evident via repentance and a changed life-style, a new way of life. – Chaplain Bill 🙂

Repent – be salt and light – be holy – be sanctified – fear God – pray without ceasing – keep His commandments – walk circumspectly – believe in and trust Jesus – obey the Gospel – share the Gospel – preach the Gospel – contend for the faith, – hate the things that God hates, and love the things that God loves – keep the faith, work-out your salvation, and endure to the end!
