Video open-air preaching ‘God predestined, chooses & adopts whom He saves, we must be holy, some respond with much gladness’
This morning I preached (and taught) from Ephesians 1:3-8. This passage is rich in Doctrine, which provides an opportunity to teach, and not just preach. From this grand passage, I spoke about how this passage is exclusively only for those that get saved, about Christ in the heavenly places, that God chooses whom He elects, the ordo salutis, that you must be holy and blameless to inherit heaven, about predestination, adoption, that God doesn’t need to be accepted; but He accepts whom He saves.
Though private conversations were removed. Some advised they never heard these things before in their church. A few rejoiced in the Lord, and one lady in particular was overwhelmed with joy, that the Gospel was being proclaimed in a parking lot (church). Pray for Ryann, she needs a home church, I will keep her note to remind me to pray for her.
The ‘ordo salutis’ (order of salvation) is this. Salvation is of the Lord, not ourselves. To be more specific, salvation is the Divine monergistic work of the Holy Trinity. Salvation comes to others as the Father chooses whom He elects, He draws (gives) them to His Son (John 6:37-44; 17:2, 6, 9, 24), He redeems them from their sins, through the redemptive work of Christ (John 10:15, Heb 9:11-28, Eph. 5:25b), as the Holy Spirit regenerates their heart (Ezekiel 36:26-27, John 3:5-8, Titus 3:5-6, Rom 2:29; cf 2 Tim. 2:25, 2 Cor. 4:6, John 10:27, Acts 16:14, John 1:13).

UPDATE: I am receiving lots of responses to this video via the internet, and social media. One YouTuber Lisabee commented under the YouTube channel that she struggles with predestination. Thankfully many Christians have submitted some helpful comments (though the hurtful comments were not allowed to go thru). One sent this short video by Dr. R.C. Sproul.
