Video open-air preaching from Revelation 19, a Jewish woman tells me my preaching is “obnoxious & offensive,” many Christians rejoice (private conversations edited out)
I preached out of Revelation 19. I refuted the unbiblical portraits of Jesus that many have inside their churches and homes, and told them what the Scriptures say about His appearance. I spoke of the fate of America, and warned them of unbiblical soteriologies. I called them to repentance, and compelled them to be entrusted to Christ for salvation.
As soon as I began speaking on Christ’s atonement, a woman (later ID’d as “A Jew”) told me “turn it down, it hurts my ears!” But I asked the people in the center of the line, that were even closer to me if was too loud, and they advised “no.” After I finished preaching, she later told me, “As a Jew I found that obnoxious and offensive…” But I reminded her that God finds her sins obnoxious. What I should have said, was “Yes man, it is offensive to those that are perishing in their sins (1 Corinthians 1:18). Please say a prayer for her salvation.
A Christian man that spoke to me afterwards advised he was surprised after hearing me preach. I asked him why he was surprised. He advised he’s heard “street preachers” before preach in the streets, and they were “unbiblical,” but he believed this was more “Biblical.” Though he gave me permission to include our conversation in this video, I did not. I pray that I and other Heralds will stay faithful to preaching thru the Scriptures, and His glorious Gospel. If we do not, then it’s not Biblical.
“For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:11-170>
