Female Anglers dressing worse than prostitutes, and a call for Christian men to man-up and say “repent not repeat”
I’m going to go out on a limb with this public statement. Naturally, I will be hated and laughed at by the unregenerate world. But unnaturally, this will be rejected by many who profess to be born-again Christians.
Nonetheless, I am seeing an increase in female anglers that believe it’s necessary to sexually exploit themselves on the internet. A growing trend of women videotaping or photographing themselves exposing their naked butts or breasts while fishing.
These aren’t the modest bathing suit bottoms of the 1950s. These are G-strings (aka dental floss), the cheeky cut, the pro cut, moderate cuts, or postmodern regular cut bikini bottoms. Then, of course, their bikini tops have less material than most bras. So basically they are fishing in nothing but their underwear (or even less).
Sadly, many of us are unintentionally seeing all of the above apparel on our fishing-related social media newsfeeds. It almost seems that some of these perverted women are competing with each other. Further investigation reveals that their channels (or videos) are monetized, so they are getting paid money for their promiscuity, which is a form of fiscal prostitution.
Women, you might get a lot of views on your videos, and some big bucks. But you’re going to attract nothing but perverts., as you sinfully feed their flesh. Decent men know that your breast augmentations, inflated botulinum toxin injections, and/or sexual exploitations are as phony as a 3-dollar bill.
A female angler videotaping or photographing herself while fishing, wearing nothing but the aforementioned, is just as questionable as a male registered sex offender intentionally fishing next to his prey.
I understand that we might expect to see this from the lost world (non-Christians), but some of these women are professing (alleged) Christians.
If you profess to be a born-again Christian and dress like this in public, then as Paul warned in 2 Corinthians 13:5, I would examine the Scriptures and test yourselves to see if we are truly saved. A great place to start that examination process is by reading the first and second epistles of John.
And to the modest Christian women. Thank you, your modesty is beautiful and appreciated. “Likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire, but with what is proper for women who profess godliness—with good works” (1 Timothy 2:9-10).
And now a ‘call to action’ for professing Christian men.
I too was once a non-believer, and I would have loved to see this lasciviousness back then. But as Paul said in 1 Corinthians 13:11 “When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.”
If you profess to be a Christian, then apply and demonstrate the commands in Ephesians 5:1-21. Expose their evil deeds, and don’t be partakers with them. Don’t follow them, subscribe to them, and/or ‘like’ their posts. And as fishers of men do, share the Law and Gospel with them.
The bad news is, we’ve all been born into sin, and we all need to be saved from our sins, lest we perish in hell and be under the wrath of a Holy Just God. To know how you can have the forgiveness of sin, and eternal life in heaven, rather than in hell; please read my below Gospel tract entitled “The Glorious Gospel” (aka the Good News).
UPDATE 03/03/21: Not surprised, but an Administrator from the Camping for Christ Facebook page removed this post as a violation of their rules. I wonder if this was a Romans 1:18 ‘suppressing the truth in their own unrighteousness’ moment?
