Video opposing alleged Christians celebrating homosexual marriage, angry man opposes my message, & 2 ladies…
I recently saw a post by a Facebook ‘friend’ rejoicing in a homosexual wedding, that they had just attended as guests. Sadly they ‘profess’ (alleged) to be Christians.
Frankly, it is a grave sin to accept, condone, tolerate, celebrate, acquiesce to, and/or capitulate in any way to a “gay marriage.”
Since “I’m Street preaching thru the book of Jeremiah, providentially this morning I happened to land-on Jer 11:15-17. So, I geared my message towards ‘professing’ Christians that acquiesce to sin, and how God told Jeremiah that He is “angry” with those that engage in “lewd deeds,” and those that “rejoice” in, and/or celebrate sin. That they are “evil,” and that “doom” and gloom is coming their way. I sometimes find myself apologizing to the world, for the bad witness of alleged Christians.
One lady in the front and center humbly questioned my “judging” others. Another lady questioned me as to what day I attended church. Regretfully I slipped and called her “sister.” That was unwise, because I do not know if she’s saved or not.
Then after preaching my message, an angry man told me my message was “bull shit,” and that “there is no God…” I warned him of the wrath that he will soon face, unless he repents. But admittedly I told him that I appreciated his honesty. I’d rather be told by an angry man that says, “there is no God,” than to see how so many alleged Christians today are willfully ‘continuing in sin’ with no remorse or repentance. Perhaps the Lord might save him (Lord willing). Then an ’employee’ at this location was visibly angered when I denounced homosexual marriages.
After leaving this location, I was thinking how I could have better responded to the angry man. And so, I add the following.
Social liberals often complain about homelessness. In this man’s case, he either denies God (or blamed God) because “people are digging in dumpsters.” But what I failed to mention to him, was that the Lord Jesus was homeless. From the beginning while in His mother’s womb, Jesus was turned away at the inn. He was then born in a stinky barnyard environment, and then laid down in an unsanitary feeding trough (Luke 2:7). Then as an adult, Jesus said, “The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head” (Matt 8:20). So, who are we to complain? I’m entitled to NOTHING. I don’t even deserve the oxygen that He allowed me to breath today.
“What has My beloved to do in My house, having done lewd deeds with many? And the holy flesh has passed from you. When you do evil, then you rejoice. The Lord called your name, Green Olive Tree, Lovely and of Good Fruit. With the noise of a great tumult He has kindled fire on it, and its branches are broken. “For the Lord of hosts, who planted you, has pronounced doom against you for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke Me to anger in offering incense to Baal” (Jeremiah 11:15-17).
