Tracker Targa’s Maiden Voyage to Catalina Island – for lunch
My wife and I and a brother from church went on an adventurous lunch excursion to the Santa Catalina Islands. Since my wife does not want to be on social media, I did not video most of our trip.
Sadly, while enroute we struck a large object. By the time we turned the boat around, the collision site was nothing but blood on the surface, and the large creature was already descending towards the bottom.
Upon arrival, we enjoyed Italian food and sweet fellowship together. Our crewman from church has a sailboat and frequents the Island, so he knows the Island well, and was our tour guide.
On the way back the swells became so large, that it was like climbing hills while off roading in our Jeep. I confess I prayed often for traveling mercies. After that long rollercoaster ride, we arrived safely back into the Newport Harbor.
