Video open-air preaching from Romans 8:28-30 (compared a police shooting death, to ‘murder in the heart’)
Shortly after I arrived at this location, another street preacher whom I’ve never met before arrived. Normally when this occurs, the pulpit is claimed on a ‘first come first choice’ basis. But in this case, we shared the pulpit, each preaching for ten minutes.
I shared one of my police shootings with this crowd. And how taking the life of another human being could actually ‘not’ be a sin, but how ‘hatred in our heart’ is in fact sin (aka “murder in the heart”).
Regarding my use of the postmodern word ‘prototype.’ I failed to give a better ‘explanation and application’ of that word, and the root word. Since street preachers do not have a comfortable fixed pulpit, and comprehensive speakers notes (a pre-written sermon), we often fall short.
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified (Romans 8:28-30).
