I preached from Romans 3:23-31. One lady engaged with several rhetorical questions, and another lady recited that famous man-made cliché, “God hates the sin, but loves the sinner!” I hope my answer to her was clear enough for this crowd. At this location I had a ‘narrow window of opportunity’ to convey my message; hence
This wonderful lady asked me to omit her remarks. To be more specific, salvation is the Divine monergistic work of the Holy Trinity. Salvation comes to others as the Father ‘chooses whom He elects.’ He draws them (gives them) to His Son for redemption (John 6:37-44; 17:2, 6, 9, 24). Christ then redeems them from
This same message was preached at two different locations this morning. I spoke about the ‘hope of heaven’ for their parishioners that were saved. While warning that some of their parishioners might not of been saved, that not everyone whom goes to church, or ‘believes’ in Jesus is saved. I preached on what Jesus said
I spoke about the newsworthy indictments, then preached both the Law and the Gospel, and then opened up for Q&A and prayers. All prayer and private conversations were removed.
I ‘street preached’ from Revelation 21:7-8. I explained some of the Law, then preached the Gospel, and then opened up for Q&A. All private conversations were removed. UPDATE: Here’s a good article about cellphones in church.
My tongue got tied a few times, but I trust the Lord will use this. This group was respectful and responsive. Some Christians later rejoiced, many others asked for prayer (video upper left corner), and some asked questions. All private conversations were removed.
I street preached from Psalm 5:4-6, I then explained some of the attributes of God, I then preached the glorious Gospel, while warning them of unbiblical soteriologies; and then I opened up for Q&A (and the questions came). Thankfully this went must smoother than Tuesday’s outreach. The harvest is extremely ripe right now.
Today while preaching I used the shooting of the ‘Route 91 Harvest’ concert as a ‘segue’ into my open-air sermon. It’s amazing how many believe that all victims of a horrific crime, will “RIP.” And when I ‘attempted’ to teach what the Bible says about this, many in this crowd became very hostile and intense.
When I first posted this video, the YouTuber of this video (unworthyservant) advised his viewers that this preaching was at the exact same concert as was the shooting. It was later determined that information was incorrect. Yes this was a ‘Jason Alden’ concert, but it was in the Bay area, just days before the shooting
