Happy Thanksgiving, and give Him thanks, praise and glory for everything in your life

Last Thanksgiving I spent my holiday in an ICU unit at the hospital (and their food in my room was GREAT). On Thanksgiving Day last year I received a five-fold diagnoses of having five different problems with my heart. Then only four weeks later my heart went ‘from bad to worse,’ whereas on Jan 25th, my heart stopped three times, whereas the Doctor had initially declared me “clinically dead.” But thanks to their resuscitation efforts, and multiple applications of defibrillator paddles, I am still here. All of this ordained by God’s hands.

By Gods grace today I am preaching His glorious Gospel again, and I’m up to 60-minute walks, and I just completed a walk in-between ‘stoking the fire-box’ on my smoker grill. Therefore I have nothing to complain about, and even more to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.

I am indebted to Christ for my salvation, and for that I am especially thankful. Had I not been born twice (a regenerate heart), I would have wished I had never been born at all (Matthew 26:24). From the Rhetts family to your family. I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, and give Him thanks, praise and glory for everything in your life. Last but not least.

Thank all of you that have prayed for my health.
