Jude 5-7 Demonology, God punishes the sexually immoral & the #SBC Apostasy

As a former fornicator, and a person who has had lust in my heart for a woman that was not my wife (aka adultery in the heart), only by the grace of God has He shown me how wicked my own sin was and is.  In this sermon I discuss the relationship between the fallen angels (demons) and the sexually immoral. I also call-out the #SBC for leading the way in this apostasy of normalizing sexual immorality, specifically SBC presidents J.D. Greear and Ed Litton, that they have lied about God and should be removed from their pulpits.

Note: I misspoke by stating the Pope came from Rome to Los Angeles in a helicopter, he arrived in a jet airliner. The helicopter was part of a simulation where I was assigned a fixed post, giving the appearance that he and Nancy Reagan were being lowered on top of one building, when in fact they arrived in another. That had to be done because the Pope at that time was the most likely person to be assassinated, hence a clandestine arrival had to be implemented to confuse a potential threat.

Below are some of my speakers notes.

Next in verse 7, Jude lumps Satan and His Demons along with the sexually immoral, as they wait for that great Day of Judgment.

Vs 7 “just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.”

God, thru Jude boldly calls-out sexual immorality, and specifically the homosexual sins of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Speaking of the aforementioned Demons, today there is a demonic influence to hush-up on, or normalize sexual sins.

Since God told us in last weeks sermon to “contend for the faith,” and next week will be the “denunciation of false teachers,” the following is providentially appropriate.

Regarding apostates. The largest protestant denomination in the world, the Southern Baptist Church (or convention) is literally leading the way in this apostate movement.

Their past president J.D. Greear, and their newly elected president Ed Litton have both erroneously stated from their pulpits that “God whispers on sexual sins!” And they have either minimalized or normalized homosexuality.

But let us see what God says (or allegedly “whispers”) about sexual sin thru His own Words.

Including but not limited to –

  • Have we forgotten that God annihilated the city of Sodom and Gomorrah (Gen 18-19)?
  • Have we forgotten that adultery is called a “great sin” – Gen 20:9?
  • That adultery is a “great wickedness” – Gen 39:9.
  • That adultery is worse than thievery – Proverbs 6:30-32.
  • That sexual immorality is an “abomination” onto the Lord.
  • That fornication is wicked and they will not see heaven – 1 Cor 6:9.
  • That homosexuality is a detestable act – Lev 20:13.
  • That Christ will destroy professing Christians that are sexually immoral – Rev 2:12-16.
  • That God killed 23,000 sexual immoral humans in one day – 1 Cor 10:8, and let us not forget the millions that have died from AIDS.
  • That God will make examples (or specimens) out of them – Jude 7.
  • That God compares the fallen angels to sexually immoral people – Jude 7.
  • That homosexuality is unnormal & shameful – Rom. 1.
  • That sexual sin is different than other sins, as it’s a sin against our own body which is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

1 Cor. 6:18-20 warns professing Christians “Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”
And some additional verses calling-out homosexuality or sexual immorality (including but not limited to).

  • 1 Timothy 1:8-11
  • Rev 21:8
  • Jude 5
  • Lev 18:22
  • Roms 1:26-28
  • 1 Kings 14:24
  • and 1 Kings 15:12.

Therefore #SBC Presidents J.D. Greer and Ed Litton have sinfully lied (slandered God) alleging that He only “whispers” about sexual sins.

Yes 100% of mankind has been born into sin, so we’re all sinners, and we all need to be saved from our sin, and all it takes is one little ‘white lie’ to condemn us in hell, but the Bible does speak specifically of sexual immorality, and homosexual sins.

Vs 7b said these sexual immoral “pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.”

God describes these sins as being “unnatural.”

It says in Romans 1:

24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. 26 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature;  and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.”

Fast-forwarding to verse 32, “Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.”

I refuse to give approval to them, nor will I normalize or minimalize their sexual sins (straight sins or homosexual sins).

All forms of sexual immorality are wicked, and whether they be fornication in general, or adultery; homosexuality and sexual immorality is in fact very demonic.

As one scholar said,

“In Genesis 19 angelic messengers in the form of men visited Sodom; and the men of the city, motivated by their homosexuality and supposing the messengers to be men, desired them.”

And history repeats itself, the good old depraved U.S.A. is just like Sodom, and is being visited by her own angelic demonic messengers.

In closing, let us “contend for the faith,” let us call sins for what it is, especially our own sin. Let us continually repent, not repeat.
