Some of you have enjoyed going on this virtual ride with us. Thankfully our Shop has been completed, and it is already in use.
Though our radio room will not be in the shop. Hopefully, in the future, I will erect another radio tower somewhere behind it for one of our High-Frequency antennas. In the meantime, I have two verticals attached to the Lean-To.
Last year when a Tornado touched down 30 miles east of us, and the citizens communications infrastructure went down, we still had communications with the outside world. It’s all part of our desire to be more self-sustainable and am glad to assist others with EmComm services. And with our Generac standby generator, there will no longer be a need for battery backups.
